Bring one of the most uncompromising American sports cars to life with the Mould King 10046, a detailed car building set inspired by the Dodge Viper ACR. The enormous hood, low body, and striking rear wing immediately give the model the characteristic look of the Viper, while several technical functions are also incorporated under the body.
The real Dodge Viper ACR is the track-focused version of the famous Viper. Under the long hood lies a gigantic 8.4-liter naturally aspirated V10, good for 645 hp in its final generation. However, the ACR was about much more than just engine power. The car received a special chassis, modified brakes, weight savings, and an extensive aerodynamic package. With the optional Extreme Aero Package, the enormous rear wing, splitter, and other aerodynamic parts, among other things, provided impressive amounts of downforce. This allowed the Viper ACR to set exceptionally fast lap times on various circuits.
The Mould King 10046 building set translates this extreme execution into a large-scale model. The long hood, wide wheel arches, low nose, side exhausts, and of course the large rear wing are clearly recognizable. The contrasting body details and the elaborate interior also contribute to the typical appearance of the Viper ACR.
More technology is hidden under the body as well. The model features working steering and functional suspension, while a detailed V10 engine block with moving pistons is visible under the opening hood. The doors can also be opened, allowing the interior to be well-viewed after building. This means the building experience consists not only of shaping the exterior but also of assembling the mechanical parts of the car.
The Mould King 10046 Dodge Viper ACR is therefore an interesting building set for fans of American sports cars and larger technical car models. The combination of the enormous V10, the pronounced aerodynamic package, and the typical Viper design makes this a model of a car that needs little subtlety to impress.
This is not an officially licensed product, but a building set inspired by the Dodge Viper ACR.
