With its recognizable yellow bodywork and classic shapes, this set brings a special piece of German automotive history to your building table.

The real RUF CTR, better known as the Yellowbird, was introduced in 1987 and became one of the most famous RUF models ever. Beneath the relatively understated bodywork lay a 3.4-liter six-cylinder boxer engine with two turbochargers and approximately 469 hp. For its time, the performance was unprecedented, and the CTR even left many contemporary supercars behind. The spectacular footage of the Yellowbird at the Nürburgring ultimately made the car a true icon.

The CaDA C62003 translates this special car into a detailed building model. The classic body shape, round headlights, characteristic rear, and of course the striking yellow color ensure that the Yellowbird is instantly recognizable. The interior and technical parts of the car have also been included in the design.

In addition to its appearance, the building set features several functional parts. The doors, hood, and trunk can be opened, while working steering and suspension add extra engineering to the model. Under the trunk lid, the engine can also be found, in line with the unique rear-mounted drivetrain of the real car.

The CaDA C62003 RUF CTR Yellowbird is therefore a great combination of a classic sports car and a technical car building set. An interesting model for enthusiasts of RUF, special sports cars, and cars from the 80s.
