Finally here: the CaDA Audi RS6 Avant C61515 is now in stock at CarBrick
The wait is over. The CaDA Audi RS6 Avant C61515 has finally arrived and is now available directly from stock at CarBrick.
Those who have followed our blog for a while may remember that we first wrote about this special building set in detail in April. At that time, only renders, prototypes and the first technical details were known. Now the final set has been released, we know all the specifications and we actually have the first copies in stock.
And honestly, the final result is at least as interesting as we hoped it would be a few months ago.
The Audi RS6 Avant is officially licensed by Audi, consists of no fewer than 4,663 parts, is built to a 1:8 scale and combines a detailed body with a fairly extensive technical interior. The model is approximately 60 centimetres long, 26 centimetres wide and 17 centimetres high.
Did you pre-order the RS6 from CarBrick recently? Then there is good news: we are currently processing the stock that has arrived. As soon as your order has been shipped, you will automatically receive an email with the tracking details.
From a promising prototype to the final building set
When we first wrote about the CaDA Audi RS6 earlier this year, far from everything being final.
We did know back then that this would not be just another new car model. While large technical building sets are often based on Ferraris, Lamborghinis, hypercars and race cars, CaDA chose something completely different this time: a performance estate car.
That is precisely where much of the appeal of the real RS6 lies.
The Audi RS6 Avant combines space for five people and a large boot with performance that would not be out of place in a full-fledged sports car. The current RS6 Performance features a 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine, quattro all-wheel drive and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3.4 seconds.
That combination of practicality and extreme speed has earned the RS6 an enormous following over the years.
And that is exactly what CaDA wanted to translate into building blocks.
Designed by Thijs de Boer
The story behind the set is also special.
The C61515 was developed in collaboration with Dutch MOC designer Thijs de Boer. The project began back in 2022 and the original design was subsequently further developed and adapted together with CaDA for production under an official Audi license.
This meant it was not simply a matter of making some minor adjustments to an existing body.
In terms of shape, an RS6 may even be more difficult to convincingly recreate than an extreme hypercar. The proportions of an estate car are much more recognisable and relatively subtle. A wheel arch that is just slightly too high or a roofline that is not quite right will therefore stand out quickly.
In the final model, many typical RS6 elements are clearly visible: the wide wheel arches, large grille, aggressive front end and, of course, the long Avant body.
The dark blue exterior combined with the brown interior also gives the set a completely different look than the brightly coloured supercars you often see in 1:8 building sets.
4,663 parts and over 60 centimetres long
With 4,663 parts, the Audi RS6 is one of the larger technical car building sets in the current CaDA range.
Once built, it measures approximately:
- 60 cm long
- 26 cm wide
- 17 cm high
- 1:8 scale
This is clearly no small model to build in your spare time. This is an extensive building project that will also take up quite a bit of space in your collection once completed.
But the large number of parts is not just in the body.
A lot happens beneath the surface.
A truly technical RS6
An important part of this set is the attempt to also recreate the mechanical side of the real Audi RS6.
Under the opening bonnet is a recreated V8 engine, while the drive actually goes to all four wheels. The set features functional all-wheel drive with several differentials, independent wheel suspension and working steering.
The development of the model also revealed several interesting features, including a sequential eight-speed gearbox, adjustable ride height and Hand-of-God steering. The gearbox in particular was a major technical challenge, because an estate car offers much less free space than a traditional mid-engined supercar. A long construction was therefore incorporated into the design, running from the centre of the car towards the rear axle.
That kind of solution makes this set more interesting to us than a model that is only beautiful on the outside.
During the build, a complete technical chassis is actually created step by step.
The interior is also extensively detailed
An Audi RS6 is, of course, not just an engine and drivetrain.
That is why CaDA has also paid a lot of attention to the interior and the practical features of the Avant.
All four doors can be opened, as can the bonnet and the large tailgate. Inside you will find sports seats, a dashboard and several interior details based on the real car.
This ensures that the model remains interesting to look at closely even after it has been built.
Place the car on a shelf and you have a large display model. Open the body panels and you will see just how much technology is actually hidden underneath.
That is exactly what we think a good large technical car building set is all about.
A welcome change from all the supercars
Perhaps that is what we like most about the CaDA Audi RS6.
It is different.
Within the world of large car building sets, there are now an enormous number of Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsches, McLarens and other exotic sports cars available. Understandable, because those are cars that lend themselves perfectly to a spectacular display model.
But car enthusiasts are not just made up of supercar fans.
For many people, the RS6 belongs just as well among the iconic performance cars. Precisely because it is still an estate car at heart, the car has a completely unique character.
The C61515 therefore also provides variety within a collection.
Next to a low-slung hypercar, a large dark blue Audi Avant stands out even more.

Conclusion: the wait was worth it
When we first looked at the new CaDA Audi RS6 Avant in April, we called it one of the most promising car building sets of 2026.
Now we no longer have to look at prototypes.
It is here.
With 4,663 parts, an official Audi license, a large 1:8 format, all-wheel drive, a detailed V8, extensive suspension and a complete interior, this is clearly one of the most ambitious CaDA models at the moment.
And perhaps we think it is even more important that CaDA dares to choose a different direction for once.
Not the next hypercar, but one of the best-known fast estate cars in the world.
For everyone who has already pre-ordered it, the wait is now finally truly coming to an end. So keep an eye on your inbox for your tracking details.
And for those who were still in doubt: the CaDA Audi RS6 Avant C61515 is now in stock at CarBrick.
