Review Jack's Racing Day 2026: CarBrick at TT Circuit Assen
What a weekend!
On Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2, 2026, CarBrick had its own stand at Jack's Racing Day at the TT Circuit Assen. For two days, motorsport, unique cars and, of course, many enthusiastic racing fans were central.
For us, it was the perfect place to show CarBrick and our car building sets to a large audience. We spoke with existing customers, met many new people, and, most importantly, showed how many beautiful models can now be built in addition to the brands everyone already knows.
After two busy days, we look back on Jack's Racing Day 2026 with a very good feeling!
Two days of motorsport in Assen
Jack's Racing Day has been one of the biggest motorsport events in the Netherlands for years. The TT Circuit Assen was dedicated to speed all weekend, with races, demonstrations, and all sorts of unique vehicles on and around the circuit.
That, of course, made it a perfect environment for CarBrick.
Because ultimately, it all starts with the same passion for us: cars.
Whether it's Formula 1, endurance racing, GT3, supercars, hypercars, or classics, almost every visitor to our stand had a favorite car. And the nice thing is that we can offer more and more of these cars as building sets.
Amidst all the action on the circuit, many visitors found their way to our stand.
Great to meet so many of you!
Perhaps the best part of the whole weekend was meeting so many of you in person.
Normally, we primarily communicate with our customers online. You place an order with CarBrick, receive your building set at home, and perhaps we talk via email, WhatsApp, or social media. During Jack's Racing Day, that was suddenly completely different.
It's different when you finally see a face with a name or order you've seen before. Moreover, we could talk extensively about cars, new models, and of course, the various building sets.
So to everyone who visited us: thank you!
Many people were introduced to alternative building sets for the first time
What also struck us was how many visitors were not yet familiar with the brands we sell.
For many people, building with building blocks automatically equates to one well-known Danish brand. We understand that, of course, but that's precisely why it was so much fun to show during Jack's Racing Day how many alternatives are now available.
Brands like CaDA, Mould King, Rastar, Eikee, Guly, and Bole Brick were completely unknown to some of the visitors.
And then it's incredibly fun to see the reactions when someone sees a large model up close for the first time.
"Is this really made entirely of building blocks?"
"How many parts are in this?"
"Does the gearbox really work?"
"Is this not LEGO?"
We frequently received such questions throughout the weekend. And that's precisely why we wanted to be at Jack's Racing Day...
Building sets sometimes just need to be seen in real life
Online, we naturally try to present our models as well as possible with clear photos, specifications, and extensive product information. Nevertheless, there remains a difference between viewing a model on your screen and actually standing in front of it.
A 1:8 building set over half a meter long sounds impressive, but it's only when such a car is in front of you that you truly get a sense of its size. The same applies to the details, technical functions, and finish.
That's why we brought several built display models to Assen.
Visitors could view the models up close and see for themselves what can now be made with alternative building blocks. The reactions to this were perhaps the best compliment of the weekend for us. Many people were visibly surprised by the quality and detailing!
From Formula 1 to hypercars and GT racers
In addition to our display models, we also brought a significant part of our collection, of course. And at an event like Jack's Racing Day, you truly notice how diverse car enthusiasts can be.
One person immediately gravitates towards a Formula 1 car, while another gets excited about a classic sports car. That's exactly what we love about the current range of alternative car building sets. There is now much more choice than people think and know!
For us, Jack's Racing Day was therefore a great opportunity to show how broad that world has become.
A successful weekend
After two days of Jack's Racing Day, we can only draw one conclusion: it was a successful weekend.
We had the pleasure of meeting many people, introducing them to CarBrick, and having many enjoyable conversations with fellow car enthusiasts.
Additionally, it was wonderful to see how many visitors reacted enthusiastically to our display models and how many people discovered for the first time that there is a huge world of car building sets beyond the best-known building block brands. That's exactly what we wanted to achieve with our presence!
To everyone who visited our stand, looked at a model, bought something, or just had a chat: thank you very much!
And if you walked past our stand and discovered CarBrick there for the first time? Then we heartily welcome you, of course.
In any case, we look back on Jack's Racing Day 2026 with great pleasure.
Who knows, until the next event!
